The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy describes what data we collect on this website and what we use it for.

3. Access data (server logs)

When you visit this website, our web server automatically processes technical access data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and operating system used. This data is used solely to ensure the operation of the site, to analyse errors and to defend against attacks. It is not combined with other data sources and is automatically deleted after a short period.

4. Cookies and web analytics

This website does not set any cookies of its own accord. For web analytics we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service by Google. GA4 is loaded only after you consent via the cookie notice; your IP address is anonymised. No analytics cookies are set without your consent. 5. Fonts

For a consistent appearance, we use fonts hosted on our own server (self-hosted). The fonts are loaded directly from our server — no data is transmitted to Google or other third parties.

6. Contact form and contacting us

If you use our contact form, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optional phone number, your concern and your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The data is transmitted in encrypted form to our own system environment and forwarded internally by e-mail to the responsible team. It is not passed on to third parties and is only retained for as long as is necessary to process the enquiry and the subsequent business relationship.

7. CO₂ calculator

Our CO₂ calculator processes technical vehicle data only (weight, CO₂ emissions, vehicle type). No personal data is collected or stored in the process.

8. Dealer platform

Supplementary terms apply to the registration for and use of our dealer platform (cockpit.co2-boerse.ch); these are communicated to you during registration. Data collected there (company and contact details, vehicle and processing data) is processed by us to provide our services.

9. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell personal data. Data is only disclosed where this is necessary to provide our services (e.g. to IT and hosting providers that are contractually bound to confidentiality), where required by law, or where you have given your consent. Our systems are operated in Switzerland.

10. Data security

All data transmitted on this website is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

11. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process, as well as to have it corrected, deleted or handed over. You may also object to processing and withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, please contact [email protected].
